I am an associate professor at the Faculty of Global Standard Education (Institute of Liberal Arts and Sciences) at Kanazawa University.
My teachings cover theory of the self (自我論) and research ethics.
My research interests include:
- theory of subjectivity (late works of J.G. Fichte, philosophy of mind, cognitive science)
- cognitive modeling
- theory of AI & robotics
I am also a visiting scholar at the Artificial Intelligence Laboratory of the University of Tsukuba and work with roboticists on a cognitive model of subjective agency of forward gait.
